Our blended learning course option is held over 6 weeks with learners working to a set assessment date
Subjects
The modular structure allows for flexible learning focusing on key topics in line with the regulations. Assessments are focused on the relevant knowledge and understanding required by competent Transport Managers in everyday operations.
The four modules which contain 28 elements are:
- RH-M1 Managing Business Operations
- RH-M2 Managing Drivers
- RH-M3 Managing Compliance and Risk
- RH-M4 Managing Transport Operations
Delivery
The CILT(UK) Learning Centre deliver this qualification through a blended learning approach. Learners will work within a structured timetable of study. The core learning is provided through self-directed online learning accessed through an eLearning platform with hardcopy learning materials.
This is supported through facilitated digital classrooms by a Subject Matter Expert throughout the course, ensuring Learners get the most out of their learning experience.
Assessment
To achieve the certificate, Learners are required to successfully complete two assessments by examination.
- Paper 1 is a closed book and assessment is by multi-choice. The pass mark is 28 marks out of 40 and the duration of the examination is 2 hours (120 minutes)
- Paper 2 is an open book and assessment questions relate a case studies which are pre-published in the qualification specification. The pass mark is 30 marks out of 60 and the duration of the examination is 2 hours and 15 minutes (135 minutes)

- Those seeking to act as the named Transport Manager on an Operator Licence for organisations who operate vehicles for hire and reward
Requirements
Although there are no specific entry requirements for this qualification, it is recommended that:
- Learners have English and Maths skills equivalent to Level 2 (GCSE) before they begin studying at this qualification level
